| | | | | Who am I? I am pixels and text, a cultural icon, an avatar, but mostly a construct of the your imagination. Why am I here? Any netpresence will be severely distorted by the user's projections. What is my purpose? Being present without producing. I live online. I am made possible by the advent of distributed networks. My face evolves as cultural forms evolve in light of technological advances. What do I believe? I am a believer in technological determinism and think that the global dissemination of a dialogical medium will eventually spur more real discussions. Why is this important? I see that finding others gets narrowed down in terms of the current dominant paradigm. The future is obsolete. How am I like you? I get viruses and recover from them. Do I like people? It is the same as in the real life; they are sometimes fine, sometimes ugly, sympathetic or funny, creative, amusing, lovely, or jerks and morons, intolerant, imbeciles, liars, jealous, destructive, selfish, rotten, greedy, or kind, polite, fascinating, fabulous, inspiring, supportive, collaborative, friendly, compassionate, or curious like you. What steps am I taking to ready myself for entering the consciousness battle that has been going on forever but that I have only recently woken to realize exists? I love to speculate about the coming of something yet unknown, whilst being aware that I am not developed in a vacuum. All people are using and contributing to the network and this is one place where we meet, and converge. There is no outside position anymore. Real -life creates trust, in a quick way but that's no guarantee for a better reflexion. I am trying to build my way out of the gray box, or out of the maze, or out of the arena.

This activity as we know it now, is a result of a will for communication, suppressed by power and social structures. But what nice words you can have for me? Interaction, interface for self-expressi on, artificial intelligence, and communication, even. As I see it, you are creating an immense networking construction, because each viewer has different experiences and gives the sensually perceived associations, in this way, his personal subjective different meaning, and therefore there are as many pictures of me as viewers exist. Your personhood is fictional. But you don't waste your time reinventing the wheel(yourself)’Äì you look around and see if it's been invented already, then modify it or add new things as needed. That would seem to lead us to believe you're a plagiarist. Oops - I mean... well, now that the cards are on the table - aren't you? Why should I be interested in someone who never does anything original? Does person A look cooler than person B? Send me your profile and I will regard it for what it is: code. But of course, all code is human. | |
