Strings (Augmented reality painting collaboration between Joseph Farbrook and Yana Payusova)
Can art make commentary about itself?  Can the commentary deconstruct the comments?   Strings is an Augmented Reality work that uses a painting as its target.   When viewed through a tablet, sculpture heads appear and begin to discuss the artwork as well as each other's points of view.  Although their viewpoints remain consistent, their comments are expressed in a randomized order, reshuffling context and creating a continuously emerging conversation.
