Memory Leaks is an investigation of contemporary memes, media narratives and cultural mythology. Inspired by the influx of virtual content leaking into the physical world as well as the human psyche, Memory Leaks magnifies this phenomenon into a fully immersive virtual reality experience. Applying gross enlargement and collaged cinematic, the installation dramatizes the current spans and shifts of attention, trains of thought, invasive dreams, perceived time, how time is spent, mediated communication, social life, emotions and expectations. It offers a conceptual view of the relationship between the democratization of digital technology and its prevailing emergence as the de-facto form of communication and eminence in the construction of reality.
