Guts and Butterflies
Video sculpture with autostereoscopic (glasses-free 3D) screen. Butterflies appear as three-dimensional holograms, moving toward and away from the viewer.

With a defiant posture and fluttering wings, Guts and Butterflies embodies the incongruity of trying to appear confident while suppressing internal anxiety. It is a mask often worn with tell-tale signs of the internal struggle that can leak through, as if providing a window, an opening to the genuine nature of what’s inside.
